Based in Hopkins, MN with distributor partners across the country, EDCO Products is the single largest manufacturer of residential steel roofs and siding in the U.S. It is also one of the oldest and longest-running steel/metals companies in this country. The EDCO name has come to stand for longevity, stability and an unfailing commitment to excellence.

EDCO was founded in 1946 by the enterprising Edwards family. Noticing a strong demand for affordable building materials in the wake of WWII, Arthur Edwards began manufacturing an innovative insulated siding with his father and brother. This early asphalt-based siding was one of the first of its kind, paving the way for what would become a thriving industry. The product was an instant success, and set the bar for EDCO’s strong tradition of industry leadership.

Today EDCO continues this tradition with ground-breaking products in steel roofs and steel siding. Our product line has expanded to include aluminum soffit and steel fascia, a wide variety of metal shingles, aluminum gutters and downspouts, and a comprehensive line of siding accessories. EDCO partners with distributors throughout the United States to deliver these products to a large national customer base.
